The Greco EG-800 is one of the most acclaimed vintage Japanese Les Paul copies ever made — a Fujigen Gakki-built instrument from the late 1970s that stands comfortably alongside the best Les Paul Standards of its era on tone, playability, and build quality. The EG-800 was Greco's flagship Les Paul model, and it was made with the kind of care and materials that premium guitars deserve: a mahogany body with a maple top, a set mahogany neck, and a rosewood fingerboard that all come together to produce that deep, singing Les Paul sustain with warm low-end weight and a rich, complex midrange. Greco guitars were produced by Kanda Shokai and manufactured at Fujigen Gakki, one of Japan's most respected guitar factories, which also produced Fender Japan instruments and Ibanez guitars during their golden era.
