At their peak, they were the single largest guitar manufacturer in the United States — a factory whose instruments found their way into the hands of working musicians, blues players, and rock and rollers across the country. The Speed Demon sat near the very top of their range: a semi-hollow thinline with those iconic chrome pickups and a commanding double-cutaway silhouette that became synonymous with Chicago-built electric guitars.
