Fender Stratocaster ST57-77LS Lace Sensor (Eric Clapton), MIJ 1992, Shoreline Gold

by Clingan Guitars

$1,550.00

A very cool and rarely seen MIJ take on the “Eric Clapton” Strat platform, this 1992 Fender ST57-77LS pairs a lightweight basswood body with a trio of USA-made Lace Sensor Gold pickups and a factory-installed TBX tone circuit. Finished in a stunning Shoreline Gold with a soft V neck profile and 21 vintage-style frets, it nails the smooth, noiseless response and bell-like clarity Clapton favored in his signature models of the era. The factory electronics and pickup set match what you'd find in a USA Clapton Strat, with the added charm of Japanese craftsmanship and vintage-correct aesthetics like the small headstock, single-ply guard, and spaghetti logo.

Clean and original throughout, this Strat plays effortlessly with a fresh setup and low action, and the TBX circuit adds a great upper-mid snap without sounding harsh. Whether you’re chasing “Slowhand” tones or just want a Strat that balances vintage looks with modern performance, this one’s a serious sleeper from Fender Japan’s golden age.

This guitar is a great addition in anyone’s collection and with a fresh set up it is ready to go!
