Greco VB-500 1984 - Sunburst

Here’s a killer 1984 Greco VB-500 Violin Bass in a classic Sunburst finish, a faithful Japanese-made homage to the iconic Hofner 500/1 made famous by Paul McCartney. Crafted during the golden era of Japanese guitar manufacturing, this VB-500 features a spruce top, flamed maple back, and a maple set neck with a rosewood fingerboard, delivering that warm, woody thump and short-scale punch that defined the sound of '60s British pop. The double-bound violin-style body is lightweight and resonant, while the dual mini-humbuckers and traditional control panel provide a wide tonal palette—from deep, rounded lows to articulate highs.
