Greco VB-500 1981 - Sunburst

A killer example from the golden age of Japanese craftsmanship, this 1978 Greco EG-600 is a vintage singlecut that punches well above its weight. Built at the famed Fujigen factory during the peak of the "lawsuit era," this guitar features a mahogany body with a maple top, delivering thick sustain and rich midrange that’ll easily keep up with any vintage LP. The neck has a comfortable '50s-style profile, and the stock Maxon U-1000 pickups serve up everything from articulate cleans to snarling, full-bodied gain. It’s a total workhorse—and a ton of tone for the money.

This example shows honest signs of natural aging, but it’s in great shape overall, with a smooth-playing neck and excellent feel.
