Early 70’s Coronet (Sakai) Tele - Cream

A vibey slice of early Japanese guitar history, this early '70s Coronet Tele was built by Sakai and captures all the charm of a vintage MIJ copy era. With a slim maple neck, ashtray bridge, and dual single coils that deliver snappy twang and warm, rounded rhythm tones, it’s a total sleeper that punches above its weight. The Cream finish has mellowed nicely with age, and paired with the black guard and block logo headstock, it’s got a killer retro aesthetic. Lightweight and super fun to play, it’s a great vintage Tele alternative that won’t break the bank.
