A rare and classy vintage head from Japan, the Guyatone GA-940 is a 1960s tube bass amp that delivers around 45 watts of warm, dynamic tone through a pair of 6L6s. With a voicing reminiscent of a Fender Bassman, it’s equally at home pushing a bass cab or serving up gritty, articulate guitar tones with plenty of clean headroom. In excellent condition for its age, freshly serviced and ready to plug in and play.
