1960’s Guyatone LG-50T

A wonderfully weird vintage oddity from the golden age of Japanese electrics, this 1960s Guyatone LG-50T is a vibey little rocketship loaded with retro charm. Featuring a pair of wide single coils with a warm, jangly tone and a surprisingly rich output, this model captures everything we love about early Japanese design—funky, lightweight, and surprisingly playable. The original tremolo is fully functional and smooth, and the neck has a comfy medium C carve with a bound rosewood board that feels great in the hands.

Aesthetically, it’s a total time capsule, complete with chrome pickup surrounds, rocker switches, and a striking offset silhouette that hints at Mosrite or Teisco roots. All hardware appears original, and the electronics are working as they should with no scratchy pots or dodgy connections. This guitar is a great addition in anyone’s collection and with a fresh set up it is ready to go!
